A traditional Craftsman style, designed by Lilian Rice and built in 1932 with a unique redwood interior, historic rowing décor, and scenic view of Mission Bay, the clubhouse is the ideal setting for:

Six-hour rentals of our Clubhouse are available to Non-Members on Fridays and Saturdays. No holiday rentals are available. The rental rate is $3,200. A deposit of $500 will confirm your date. A discount rate may apply for Individual and Non-Profit rentals sponsored by a Member.

Yes, you may. However, the arrangements for using the beach must be made through the City of San Diego Parks and Recreation Department.

Beer, wine, champagne and non-alcoholic drinks may be offered to your guests. However, no selling of drinks or tipping is allowed. All drinks must be served by a Caterer or Bartender who is licensed for liquor liability. No alcohol is permitted on the Boat Apron, outside of the fenced area of the property, or on the beach. Event Insurance with liquor liability must be obtained for your event.

We require you to use a professional caterer chosen from the club’s Approved Caterers list. These caterers are familiar with the club's catering requirements, ensuring that you have a successful event.

We can seat 125 people comfortably. ZLAC provides 10 banquet tables for your use; all other tables and chairs must be rented. If you use the Boat Apron, you will need to rent some type of barrier to prevent the public from joining your party.

Yes, there are 24 parking spaces available in our parking lot. Since the club is an active rowing club there is a possibility that some spaces could be impacted depending on the rowing/regatta schedule for that day.

No, all of these items must be provided by the renter or the catering service.

“My husband and I got married here a few weeks ago and had the best experience. It was very affordable and Susan was very helpful. I did a DIY wedding and Susan helped with every step of the way. She is very laid back and easy to work with. We went over to ZLAC several times to do walk-throughs and she was always available and had great suggestions for the layout. The venue for the wedding was a beautiful back drop and very spacious for 130 guests. Susan was around the whole night helping and made the event run very smoothly. I had a great experience at ZLAC and would have another party there anytime!”
